I returned to the game about 6 months ago after like an 8 year hiatus. I had fun trying out all the new classes (although I don't know how long you've been gone so idk if this will be relevant to you), but I definitely would have ended up quitting again after a few weeks if I didn't find a good guild and made some friends lol. For me it's much more fun to work on my character if I have people to train/boss with.

Remember why you quit the first time. Then realize that same exact thing is going to happen again. No matter what people tell you it will happen. The fact that you're on basil shows that you have an interest in playing, the way you phrased it shows you want people to give you crap so you'll feel no need to come back or people to agree with you so you feel no need to come back. You decide.

Owl the enjoyable winters using an owl bought using mesos in potion shops.
"Owl website"(checks "maple's fm" through the internet) to check those NX equips.

I played for 6 years then slowly lost interest[/quote]

Then come back for a while and decide if you wanna start again.
There's a lot of new content that's going to be coming on the 7th of october.
Maplestory is also moving to a new graphical engine in the future that should reduce lag. IMO, it looks awesome.

But again, this is subjective. Just start playing again and if you still think it's not worth it, you can always quit again. You're not losing anything by checking it out.

In my opinion, the cape is worth something but if its not a tryant cape or above, then it wont be worth what you think it is.

And i believe the game is always worth playing. If you are an older player dating back several years obviously muvh has changed, but you personally shape your own maple experience. Damage and grinding are ok, but what really keeps you in the game, logging on is the community and friendship you build with other guild mates and players. So i personally think its good to play, but the type of experience you have is largely dependent on yourself and how social you are willing to be.

Also, at the very least, should you choose to not come back, sell your ign. There are many maplers who would pay for ign's. And i dont think its fair to the community as a whole to have an ign such as "airplane" and just keep it locked away on an inactive acc to waste away while there is a player out there who could use thst ign, and be willing to pay for it.

But the fact that youre on basil asking, tells me that youve already made your decision amd this has already been on your mind for a bit. If thats the case. Add me "town" as a friend, and my guild and i will be more than happy to help you out and be friends.

It's worth playing if you have fun playing it.
Try it out. If you don't like it, quit.
