Maybe I'm being hipster about it, but I find that as the more mainstream an artist/band/group become, the less I like their music. When Katheryn Hudson sings acoustic, I'm not only able to tolerate it, [i]I like it[/i].
To be fair, much of the western music I listen to [i]is[/i] pop, and I wouldn't have been introduced to many of the songs and artists I like now if they weren't mainstream (although, nowadays, I have a more diverse set of resources from which I can draw new music). Furthermore, I'm not really one to buy albums, so I'm less likely to hear less popular songs from an artist/band/group that may actually appeal to my tastes.
Of course, I'm just a jaded old (at heart) coot.

I think most anyone who puts an ounce of thought into growing up shares those very same concerns. Myself included. I really want to move out, but living with my mom (...and, right now, aunt and cousins...) is more financially feasible, and there are the conveniences of having things like cooking and cleaning done for you. (Although those are things I want to teach myself to be disciplined enough to do on my own... my mother is too diligent a housekeeper. Instinctively, I sometimes don't put as much effort into cleaning things because I know she won't be able to stand it and will do it herself rather than tell me to.)

To take it even further, if it were at all possible, I'd go so far as saying I want to make my own country. All the implications and complications make that incredibly difficult, though, so instead, I'm just aiming to have enough money such that I need not worry about systems or bureaucracy.
(...But then, having the great power that is money, I have the greater responsibility of using it in such a way that can hopefully alter and benefit society and...)

Serious face now... That's right, much of the characterization in 44 is based on your impression of each of us, and gender will have an impact on the context and nuances of various situations... I didn't take the role of gender very seriously, nor didn't consider the possible implications.

I want to say to just ignore the vocaroo recordings and think of me as you always have- I mean, how do you even know that's actually me? But then, how do you know if anything I say is true? I like to think that as a whole, I've been honest about my personality, thoughts, and the kind of person I am (to a fault; I think in some regards, I've been too open), but I like to keep personal details murky. Thinking about it, I kind of feel like a liar, which, I don't want be, but I'm also concerned with security over the internet.

I'm sorry for any dishonesty on my part, I'm sorry for any inconveniences or issues I caused, and I'm sorry to have disappointed you.
