Warning of a Keylogger and Fake Website

As a warning to you all, this event might happen to you, so be very cautious if you encounter something similar to the following event.

A random person will chat invite you, claim that they recently made that new character, and that they are your friend.
This is where the sly part comes in. They will tell you to "guess" who they are. This way, you will be the one who makes this person your friend.
In order to counter this, make a a fake but believable name.
E.g."guess who I am"
"I don't know"
"Think rich and cool" <- Yes he really said that to me.
"Um... James" <- Fake name.
"Yes James." <- HAH! He thought James was real.
Then you can definitely tell he is a keylogger.

Then he will go on a rant about his 30 Attack Racc Mask, 27 Attack VSS, 20 Attack Earrings, and finally, claim that he got 25k Nx from a Nexon Giveaway.
He says "Nexon is holding a Kaiser promotion. The first 100 Kaisers to comment on the Video will receive 25k Nx. The Video is on (NexonCode.Net) <- It will be a fake website made by the keylogger.

They example website I wrote down was a fake website, but has already been removed.

So as a WARNING! If some unknown person randomly chat invites you and and claims to be your friend. Do NOT let your guard down.

First Hand Experience.

@iChosenDream:
Yea I had one today. Like how the hell he got my ign xD Even if I have never encountered this before. It was still easy for me to recognize this is strange.
I was on my new character, I only added some buddies to it. So nobody else knows my ign. People who even know me can't even find me if I am on a different character, so this random person is suspicious already to me. He said something like: that he was an old friend of mine and that he was back and I had to guess who he was. I closed the chatwindow on him. The next time if another person chatinvites me and ask these things I will play around with him.

Anyway this type of thing happened to me before, few years ago. That person asked me to guess his name, I said one random name and of course he said I was correct. yet he doesn't talk the same LOL. He created a new character. He also told me his level. He told me I won something. i didn't believe it and he told me to stop acting dumb. After a while he left. I went on my mule to find this person and he lied about his level. I didn't fall for it the first time, and it never will. I hope nobody does, use your commonsense and it should be fine. If you think this is weird, even mention it in buddychat and people will recognize it too.

EDIT:The random people who chatinvited you are most likely not even the owners of the account. They are just using those accounts to advertise, lure people to sites to steal their info.

I've had a random chat to me to say that I was meant to receive an email from Nexon about some nx event and check my email if I've received it. I innocently checked my email and replied that I haven't. He then proceeded to say that I should tell him my email so that he can forward it to me (at that point I figured I was talking to a phisher/hacker trying to get my details).

Oh btw it started just like the OP asking to guess who he was.

lol this is about as believable as those "Hey, my friend told me to check out this contest and I recognize your name from the list of winners. Go to *insert fake website here* and claim your nx prize." messages I get in my shop. Still, I know plenty of people fall for these or else they wouldn't keep doing it. Good to warn people.

Edit: I wouldn't mind having one of these fakes chat me though, just so I could mess with them.

One time a random guy chatted me and he said he was an old friend of mine, and told me to guess his name.

I said the name, and he claimed to be that person and said he'll put 25k NX in my account for me. I easily known it was a scam because of the way he typed. My friend typed with correct grammar .

no, really? I thought I might proceed to an obviously fake website to comment on a video.
