Any tips on how to deal with Lgbt parents?

My mom had me at 16 with some jerk who i've never actually met, so I don't know her really well. (I lived with my grandparents until I recently moved out)

But she called me recently and admitted that she's dating a girl (a cute one, according to her)

I really don't know how to take this.

My mom is now 34 and has 3 piercings and a girlfriend.

I feel really confused and kind of disgusted (not because she's gay, just the thought of my mom being with someone physically).

ugh. help.

Your mom is still young (sorta); so she wants to enjoy her life. When I was in high school, my friends' mom was somewhere between 35-38, and tbh she actually was really good looking for her age and she went out to clubs/parties all the time. The age she had you at doesn't really have an affect on my opinion- it's her personality that urges her to live her life like this, so there's real no way to deal with it unfortunately.

your mom is 34, hope you realize how young that is. If she were to have another kid (which she obviously won't, unless, yeah you get the point) then he/she would be 16 by the time she's 51, not that bad. One of my friend's parents were in their 60's when he was a teenager.
Why did you mention her piercings? lol

Anyways, if she's happy, let her be happy. That is what's most important. Remember all of the sacrifices (i hope) she made to raise you as a teen mom.
Because the piercings lead me to believe it's some kind of weird mid life chrisis.
