I've played MM WH and Merc got them all to 200 and by far the merc was the funest to play but the weakest. Mercs take to much funding to see and real results. MM had burst but not consistent damage for bossing to me. It was easy to train since I one shot at SDH but I didn't like not having any stance and not being able to really move while attacking. My WH before and after the revamp Bossing was easier than the other 2. Pre-vamp I felt tankyer but it still was quicker then my mm or merc. Post-vamp it feels so much easier to boss since I can hit almost 3 times the amount I did pre vamp but I'm not as tanky. I've yet to play BM or WA since I don't have a decent bow yet so I can compare these.
@icec0ldkila question about the range finding skill, is it just best to keep as far away as possible while still hitting the boss? because from the way the skill tutorial showed me, the distance I should be firing from is a lot closer than the maximum range.
For training, its not too important. However, your bossing skill is Snipe, which has 100% crit, which makes close range shots much weaker than max distance. An upcoming update however is changing it so that up close it will be more ignore enemy defense, instead of crit. It will also increase the distance snipe travels. This will help a lot for bossing.
It is also important to note it is very easy to reach 100% crit even without cubing for it as a MM. So even while training the extra crit rate isn't that necessary.

Fun is a subjective experience and depends on many factors that you subconciously control. That is why that even though there are 5 bowman, we are all spread between the 5 and not all of us choose one. However with the WH revamp, it has certainly gotten more popular. By the way you phrase your post, you already seem to think you want to play a WH. They are good, all around, and if you already have experience with it then stick to it. Personally I find MM very fun but may try to switch over to BM if I can get the right gear.
The reason I like MM is because you are constantly on your toes judging your distance from the enemy and trying to capitalize on that distance. Some may find this a bother (and it is sometimes), but it always keeps me thinking and I enjoy that. The one major gripe I have with the class is its ridiculously unstable damage. Hitting 400m cap then 266m after is just awful.
Just trained a WH from 1-130 in 2 hours, and I do not like them. I will continue on with my bow master. BM and WH are very similar in DPS, but BM's DPS is much more stable. Seeing as you need the bite stack on WH in order to hit the 3 lined hurricane. Wind archers are also very good!
How in 2 hours o.o o.o
From my experience, i feel that wind archer was the funnest. Very simply to boss and train.
@Tyrant: and this Gz on your run! XD Yea bowmasters can be hard to fund. I'm still doing drk but i wanna second main bm so scrolling equips for it and crap I got my personal best of 5:32 yesterday so im pleased at that i guess and can slowly start funding bm a bit more I've also got good memories of playing hunter during pre bb so the nostalgia is just sticking around haha
@LightZero: Yeah, I don't want to bandwagon because Misusing just posted a 45 second Hellux video. Because people don't notice that he has 32k DEX buffed. The average player will never get half of that. So maining it solely for the reason that 1 person did a boss faster than another isn't enough evidence for me. My BM is missing a load of equips and I was able to do a 7:10 in dojo with portal lag. Getting low 6's doesn't seem too far away with the little funding I've put in.
@Tyrant Yea BM playstyle feels more fluid. Was starting a bowmaster when the wh revamp came out but after playing it, its not much fun and bandwagoning it feels weird if I'm not enjoying it
@LightZero: Really? I wish I liked the playstyle more. I'd quit the BM for one. I just like BM's skillset.
@Tyrant lvl 170 hyper has a 12 second cooldown and can continously keep you giving the triple bite stack if u maintain it.

wind archer looks the best by far, and i personally had the most fun with it
MM is my obvious favorite, i tried BM but have yet to try the other two
