Boss Damage or Pdr better on a claw?

Hi guys! I have 90%boss dmg in total and 15%pdr from the crusader codex

i was wondering if it would be more beneficial to me if i placed a 21%pdr neb or a 25%boss dmg neb on my claw?

im at a 75k range clean so any help would be appreciated
@evilslasher:Hmmm let's do a hypothetical situation using PB (which has a PDR of 70):

Say you do 100k damage.

Option 1: 115% boss + 15% PDR

100000+100000*1.15=215000 damage
70*0.15=10.5 PDR ignored
70-10.5=59.5 PDR remaining
100-59.5=40.5% of your damage done
215000*0.405=87075 damage

Option 2: 90% boss + 36% PDR

100000+100000*0.9=190000 damage
70*0.36=25.2 PDR ignored
70-25.2=44.8 PDR remaining
100-44.8=55.2% of your damage done
190000*0.552=104880 damage

Just some quick rough calculations, pretty sure the numbers would fluctuate up and down with different combinations of boss damage and PDR. I think that a combination of both is the best. If anyone wants to find the "perfect ratio" be everyone's guest LOL (even though said ratio would differ for every boss with a different amount of PDR).

thank you so much for your hard mathematical calculations. i really appreciate it. to everyone else who replied to my thread, i really appreciate your opinions and would like to thank you for your time. i purchased a 21%pdr neb cuz it was 300m cheaper and it seemed that it had a better benefit. ill try it out and hopefully, itll be better than 25%boss
You are very welcome sir ^^
IT depends on how much you boss. the 25% would somewhat be a waste if you ahve 90%, it does not matter after you have 100%.
Actually %boss stacks, but pdr is capped at 100%.

OT: %boss for low defense boss, %pdr for pb, empress

If zak is 50% pdr, then the difference between 25% boss and 21% pdr is only ~2%. And then after that your damage would be better on everything strong than zak (czak, ht, pb, empress).

I'd say go with the pdr

I'd go with the boss % because it'd allow me to see higher numbers (at least against bosses), and that's what I like, but it's your choice.

I'm not sure how much pdr you'd need for each boss, but the 25% boss will only boost your damage 13%, where if you had ~20% pdr, depending on the mob's defense, it might be better.
25%boss if you want to boss obviously and 21% pdr for faster mob killing btw i've always wondered what pdr stood for i'm guessing its 21% ignore monster def? Am I right if not please clarify :<
PDR stands for Physical Damage (or Percent Defense) Reduction. It's synonymous to Ignore Monster Defense, yes.

I think I would go with the PDR, seeing as I don't boss much. It really depends on what you like to do.
