1) They wouldve passed the filter someway like saying abbreviated swears.
2) Seeing ** already means something bad, why hide it?
3) Most kids already hear/say swears

nothing would change because we bypass the filter 24/7 anyways

not sure if some of these are fixed already, but i remember: whisper me, grapes, just watch, description, savage blow, if u can, (word ending in 'f') + again, analogy, raccoon
on a side note, i never understood why "lesbo" was censored but not "lesbi" and only "lesbian" (probly fixed by now but idk)

popped on (and variations)

off topic but who remembers when you type a curse word or accidentally type a curse word a message popped up saying that you cant type that sentence
and if the phrase was too too long, well to bad you gotta retyped the whole thing

Everyday I GUARANTEE you, you're going to see this. This I censored btw.
" HEY MOTHERBEAR STOP KSING MY CHANNEL YOU LITTLE FEMALE DOG".

And then the SUPER Megaphones:
"MAGGOTS MAGGOTS MAGGOTS MAGGOTS MAGGOTS MAGGOTS..."

Then finally, maintenance.

I think it'd make Maplestory a little better.

It would be the same..... people already curse but they use different symbols like @ or numbers to right a curse word without it being censored.

I can't stand the methods people use to bypass the swear filter. The common replacements for the "s" word and the "f" word are sooo annoying to see. It's not even necessary to use curse words in Maple.

should be like runescape and you are able to turn filter off or on

+Text would flow smoother without unintentional curses.
+You could say what you mean.
-For 2-4 weeks every 12 year old that plays this game will say nothing but curses and every smega will just be "fufufufufufu"

I don't think it would really make a difference. People just use numbers/symbols to get their words across right now, if they're filtered. Some people would go crazy with it for a few days, but it'd die off eventually. Also, I recently turned 14 years old.

I can finally say pocket watch.

it would be a slight improvement
i remember a few years ago during the agent event, people couldn't even type the word "document" without getting asterisks

EVERYONE WOULD, LIKE, DIE OR SOMETHING.

No but seriously it would have absolutely no effect. If people want to swear, they circumvent it anyway.

The game would be unplayable because of all the immature under-aged players spouting off swears as every second word.

For the record, I'm 23.

It'd be crazy for a week or two. Then the 12 year olds will calm down. Maybe.
