I always wonder how much % on an equip is good enough. I think 21% is good enough for endgame purposes, but then there are those people with 30%+ on an item
Progression for me usually goes 6%/9% -> 12%/15% -> ?

my weapon is perfected legendary lol emblem is 9% epic @_@ secondary I haven't cubed yet D:

You can actually reach 2m-2m range with just unique equips, You do not need legendary on all of your equips, If your getting legendary pots, get your best items there first. My rule is Wep > Secondary > Emblem > Tyrants > Sup/Rein Gollux > Gloves/Hat/Top/Btm > Rings > Face/Eye > Badge > Heart

Yup its completely fine to leave several equips at unique, all of my equips are like unique with 12-15% and I'm just about at 1m range.
Another thing, how well is your weapon/secondary/emblem cubed? If anything, you should definitely aim for legendary + good lines one those 3 pieces before anything else.

oohh okie. I got pretty good funds.. you could call me spoiled in a way xP. I mean the only things that are 21% is the pendant and tyrant cape. And yeah Eventually I want that 2mil.. but I mean im at 170k I don't wanna get ahead of myself. Everything else badge faf equips shoulder blah blah are 6-9% ep/uni. I have yet to hit 15% on anything @_@ except tyrant boots but I wanted it legendary so I kept cubing.. Is it okay to leave a couple equips at unique? ._.

No offense meant, but I find it problematic that you are cubing for legendary pots when your range is at 170k o.o
If you want to reach your goal range in the most efficient manner, I would suggest distributing your resources a little better because 21%+ on each piece is kind of overkill for 1m range. Of course this would make sense if you were eventually going for 2m range or something, but just keep in mind its gunna be more difficult to reach your goal if you go for 21%+ one each piece. Of course this is just my advice, if you have plenty of funds available then its fine, but poor people like me have to be careful when buying/upgrading equips
Also, I can assure you that the double pendant method works, many people (including myself) have tested it out and it does indeed compelte the set.

ah I actually only been worrying about pot lately. although I only been able to make two legendaries and only one has ached 21% @_@ but for the set effect doesn't it have to be each equip not just 4 pieces?

Yea you can get a second pendant slot from the cash shop (although it isn't perm right now), if you wear 2 superior pendants it counts twice for the set effect (this doesn't work for rings since they are unique equipped items).
The thing about the set effects is that it gives boss damage, which doesn't show in your range but is extremely useful. Is your gollux equips scrolled? Because that adds up to quite a bit of attack if you perfect them.

CRA = chaos root abyss, if you didn't know thats top/bottom/hat/weapon.
If you can afford it, a well enhanced tyrant belt beats a gollux belt, and you can use 2 pendants to complete the gollux 4 set while using a tyrant belt. Although, if you range is 1m range I think it would be fine to stick with a gollux belt as they are much cheaper.

CRA sets? im still kinda learning these abbreviations lol. It's a bucc. and would I be better off using gollux belt or tyrant belt?

Rule of thumb for 1m range is 15% on each piece along with gollux + tyrant +CRA sets, although that depends on your class. If you are an exploer class, you can get the lvl 100 gold leaf emblem, if you already have it then its the best one you can get.
