Aran
Combat Step: can now be used while in the air, can now be activated with the Jump key
Combo Ability: attack boost per 10 Combo Count has been increased from 3 to 5
Advanced Combo Ability: attack boost per 10 Combo Count has been increased from 5 to 7
Cleaving Attack: damage boost on boss monsters has been increased from 20% to 30%
Might: attack boost has been increased from 25 to 50, duration has been increased from 120 seconds to 200 seconds
Blessing Maha: attack boost will now stack with other buffs and items
Final Toss: Combo Count required has been decreased from 20 to 15
Final Blow: damage has been increased from 355% to 380% (hotkey), damage has been increased from 460% to 490% (Combo usage) number of hits has been increased from 3 to 4, Combo Count required has been decreased from 30 to 15
Beyonder: damage has been increased from 420% to 640%, number of hits for the first attack has been increased from 2 to 4, defense ignored has been increased from 20% to 30%
Combo Tempest: after using this skill, you will receive a debuff for 15 seconds that doubles the Combo Count required to use this skill (stacking up to 9 times)

You can still dash like normal. In fact, I still think dash+jumping is still faster than Step FJ.

Does chain lightning hit the whole map? >.> anyways this buff is going to increase my damage output by 50% =) for those without % boss/%total damage its looking to be around a 47% increase.
@Rokani: The issue is that nobody was meant to be able to consistently spam an ultimate--regardless of DPS--for a whopping 30 seconds. You lump Reflection in there but that one still requires some positioning once you have no more monsters in its initial hit range. Ultimates generally don't. Otherwise I'd say you should include Chain Lightning in the mix too.
@DemoDango: The current Tempest can't be used the whole time anyways, 50 combos per use still eats up your reserves and you need a lot of health if your going to depend on tempest keeping you alive in HoH/Golems. Also compared to Demon Cry and Reflection I don't think it was overpowered much, Reflection hits for 4294%/s on 8 mobs Tempest hits 15 mobs for about 2433%/s? So yea I can see a reason to nerf how much you can use it but not by the amount that they did.

Hey guys I got Aran from the first year he came and i wanted to know if in 4th job his basic attack look the same ad It Wes when he came or is it still close range ugly basic? ( hope u understand me)

This is not everything, Aran creation was restricted in KMS after the seed patch (with the Resistance group) and looks like Aran will get a massive overhaul, so, these changes are nothing if they give us a revamp similar to RED adventurers. Well, this make us really decent dps wise but we still lack boss utility (or more DPS if we get no boss utility at all).

well our ranges will got way higher and 10% boss dmg+, seems good, i reached 170 on my aran and i love Beyond Blade animation, so is good to know it will be buffed soon(well in like 6 months in gms xD), combo tempest was OP in my opinion, i can solo pretty easily DI in like 5 minutes spamming tempest... so iguess is a good thing.
At least we can spam Tempest as much as we want during Combo Unlimited? Guess I'll try reaching 230 before we get this update...
I'm definitely pleased with the boost to FB+BB though; I was getting kind of sick of just spamming OS.
Now that FB only needs 15 combos, we can spam FB+BB for a while without running out.
And now we have 150 weapon attack total just from buffs, 70 from combos, 30 from Maha, and 50 from Might.
That's pretty nuts, and now we can use an attack potion on top of Maha.
Yay! Maha finally stacks with other buffs , sad about tempest though!
@Rokani: Friction works the same. For a brief period after using CS, the game lowers the friction coefficient for sliding on the ground on your character. The same applies to being hit by Super KB attacks on bosses. Using CS in the air doesn't change this, but you'll end up being in the air for the duration of the friction reduction. In any case, landing on non-slip ground will cause you to lose your momentum immediately, as is the case with all movement boosts.
I don't know why people are fretting about Tempest so much. It's really not supposed to be abused all the time. That's what Combo Unlimited is designed to allow; spamming Tempest for 1/3 of the time is still mega-OP. We're still the only class that can spam a true ultimate for that long. Besides, the only thing I think Tempest is absolutely necessary for is Madman Ranmaru, where you can 1HKO the onmyouji that can ruin the run.

Looks pretty good but I woulda have preferred for them to make a combo system work like Rokani mentioned on his thread. I think the damage output is still low compared to other classes. I was hoping that we would be useful at bosses but not yet it seems like
Combat Step is now FJ as well as a dash. I tested it on my Aran on KMS. I'd still prefer dashing.
how can they just make every dash move useable in air? it doesn't even look good

@DaeHanMinGuk: we get to do 4.3k%/s dps with FBBB and ignore 40-30% PDR so maybe, much better than before. All we lose is about 50% of our hp regen due to less HPS.
@Senkujin: No the nerf to Tempest is harsh our map mobbing days are over, the damage increase to OS or FBBB could be 99k%/s but it wont let us kill the map faster than Tempest.
Combo tempest is my main attack. It makes kill quests/ item collection quests, and even training in large maps so much easier. I REALLY hope the damage increase to our regular attacks is enough to compensate the tempest nerf. And I guess I'll get used to doing those kill quests like a normal peasant.

I've seen footage of the Mechanic Dash working like Wind Walk and their dash is no different from ours. Best case is that our Step will work like Wind Walk too.
Worse case they took out the friction based effect making CS on the ground really bad, best case they only removed FJCS friction.

Just wondering if there are any videos on the new dash since people said it would be nerfed.
OS is still good, it will regen 112% of your hp every second (If AFA activates Drain), FT heals 97%, FBBB heals only 34.5% per second. Also OS is still better to use for gaining combos, 9.1 HPS, FT 4.8 HPS, FBBB 6.9 (4.7) HPS...
So yea OS is worthless for damage but good for HP and combo regen, assuming AFA activates drain.
I think nowadays Nexon is trying people to use the hotkey more rather than what it was once. Other than that I really like they double might and have it 200 secs and that advanced combo ability got a buff so it wouldn't be useless. Pretty neat stuff~
Looks like they made Overswing completely useless with the new FB and BB buff.
