I don't have the game up now, but you could confirm or disprove this using either a Pet with Item Ignore skill or an Owl of Minerva. Just type in the familiar's name, then hover the card that shows up to read.

@ZeroSuited I risked 30%boss for more drop rate for years you know ! I used to switch but I stopped because I always forgot to put it back >.< Yeah magnus for items and CRA for equips <3 esp we can get an extra pendant slot from nx reward now so it's not really bad
My data show Big spider and mutant ribbon pig is 40% drop rate and mixed golem is 20% drop rate from here http://www.southperry.net/showthread.php?t=76912&title=Drop%20rate%20statistics%20-%2010th%20anniversary. (There is no test data on mixed golem with equips, but you can go experiment right now, since equipment always drops, you'll just need like 40+ data poinst to be accurate)

Is there any case studies based on 1.2x/20% droprate exclusively? Big Spider and Mutant Ribbon Pig are both 1.6x/60% droprate. 2x is, of course, 2x/100% droprate. The difference in drops from a 1.6x to a 1.2x is clearly going to have favor. Again, I'd rather see the experiment between equal droprate.

No, statistically the difference is insignificant, while the others aren't.

Then again, we have item and meso droprate separated, despite the fact mesos drop as items (but are separate). But I used my greed pendant for lunar dews and nameless darkness, and would personally stand by the idea it is more general.

@SorLilly: lmao same. I always put on my greed pendant right before killing bosses, But after this thread I think I only need to do that for Magnus and CRA.

@SorLilly Greed pendant didn't affect the anniversary boxes in the use tab, so it is safe to assume it does not affects cubes because its in the use tab.

@MegaScience: Mixed Golem has the "small" description, thus small is 20% drop rate, I do not recall any monster with "medium"

@Rexaar I always use spider + greed pendant at bosses for cubes so only spider affect cube drop rate ?
