@Dorks: It's come to the point that I don't trust anyone unless I know and trust them on a personal level.

Trusting someone and trusting someone with your money are two separate things.
Traitor's How to not get scammed guide:
1.) If it's too good to be true, it is.
2.) Verify vouches, just because someone says the person vouched for them doesn't mean they did. (this is a given)
3.) Ensure that the vouch will cover the loss if said person runs away with your item/mesos, you may also have to verify your vouch with step 2.
4.) I'd go down the vouch train until you reach a mutual person you trust 100% and in no way will take from you, this should be someone you know personally. This is still risking it as people will still turn on you. Do at your own risk, at this point it shouldn't be known as a scam but your own fault
5.) If you and someone else agreed on a price and traded, regardless what the market price is, you agreed to sell it for that much. This is not a scam
6.) If step 5 included them lying about the market price, then it counts as lying, if you purposely do this to take advantage of noobs who don't know prices, you're not scamming but you are an asshole
7.) Verify market prices before trading anyone; if you sold for lower you were not scammed, it was your own fault.
8.) If you entrusted someone with your item and they did not return it, they did not scam you. You gave it to them with the chance they would not return it. They did not scam you but this is an asshole move
9.) If you were to ever buy service, use collateral and make sure you both have an agree-ance on the value of the collateral before trading the person. If you don't and lose your item, it's your own fault
10.) Make sure you check lowest market price on the collateral used because you will be sell it at the lowest price to get rid of the collateral to make up for your loss if they run to break even. If you run and trade your item for the collateral, your sir are an asshole.
for number 2, it's important to google them as well. basil does not allow attacking so there's no master list of scammers w/ proof on here but it's def somewhere on the internet
far too many ppl get scammed and then get told that the person they're calling out is infamous for this sort of thing

Regardless of my ID, use at your own risk. Always use your best judgement. Pretty much first rule of everything to not fail to deceit.
