Nope, KMS one starts at level 75(?) and gives a skill to arans/evans to put them a bit more on par with DS/Mercs. As far as I know anyone can do it though, and the shoulder was worse?
Um, no.
We have the original JMS Crusade questline. KMS spun off of it to include Akaryum, and JMS included the KMS update with Akaryum not too far back.

Umm I think you have it backwards. We have the KMS plot line right now, the Japanese are the ones who made their own that was much more interesting.
