All the time x.x It reminds me of when I still played my NL. LOL
With me it's more like, Holy Mother of... a female Bucc! Instead of, RANGE? I do 100% know my range is complete and utter crap, yet I don't care and nobody asks me, just those elitists DBs come and say at times, "Wow your class sucks".
I totally ignore them.
And the other case:
"ey watts ur class? theif? worrior? watt?"
I usually respond, I'm Chuck Norris, and walk away.
No kidding... range this, range that... I often keep mine to myself

It's not about the equips being worn, just divide the damage you see by the skill percentage.
If you see someone hitting some high numbers with Demolition then divide those values by 4.4 and you more or less have their range.

This doesn't have to do with anything. If you wanted to know their damage with ST wait until they're attacking in ST. It's a predictable cooldown. It isn't random at all.
like dude it happens every time they usually ask if they are godly funded.
Buccs just sucks in general : i have over 100% in str gear and 70% boss dmg and i barely can keep up with other new/revamped classes damage : I cant wait until the revamp >.<
buccs also have so many multipliers, its crazy to see my range be so high for a moment and then i do crap dmg when everything ends :
Well it's cause Buccs are rare and every time you see a bucc, they always have completely random ranges. For example: 1st bucc you meet will be able to hit 800k with Dragon Strike, 2nd bucc will hit 100k with Dragon Strike, 3rd does 400k. Other classes, such as I/L as an example, [i]typically[/i] are average ranged hitting only 30-50k per line on Chain Lightning since there is a much larger amount of that class. But every bucc I see always has a completely random range lol. This is just my little theory as to why people do this haha!
I know what ya mean. Sorta sucks cause my range is dirt.
Not every bucc does that. I don't ask other buccs what their range is on mine and people from every class ask other people from the same class what their range is. It's not just buccaneers.
Why would i care what their range is if i could tell just by looking?
It happens. I assumed it's just that more Buccs are joining the ranks for the oncoming update, and because they have no real footing or experience with the class, they're asking around to get a good basis on where they think they ought to be range-wise. I see buccs from time to time in Gali, and they do ask occasionally, but I don't really see unfamiliar Buccs in-game frequently to notice how much they ask
Honestly, I rarely, if ever, run into another Buccaneer :x
And even when that happens, we're too busy being in sheer awe of another Bucc to ask about ranges.
Only my Guild, Alliance, and BL Buccaneer's have asked me about my range..
And even then it was [i]extremely extremely[/i] rare.

As i said previously, maybe its because of the worlds, here in scania, there are some "decent" amount of buccaneers.
Constantly. Maybe it's because the ones that ask me all the time are on my bl. And they want to be a rival of some sort.
I actually remembered! I snuck into some guys CWKPQ run and he called me noob for not having 100%STR ):< I rushed the bosses to him and he died! Goal accomplished ^^
Maybe because you're level 200 and possibly found at bosses and/or other high leveled maps?
There are some pretty kick back Scanian Buccaneers, not just myself.

no ones really asked about my range in a while except that one day where i was asked what attack my knuckle was...
prob cus i never see any buccs...
Broa's gotten a few more Marauders lately. Bucc wise, I see one a week (disregarding another Bucc in the guild I'm in).

Yep. I rarely see other Buccs in my world though. Fm doesn't count since 99% of the time, they're afk.

My god its freaking 30degrees here in Australia
I do it to compare ranges of other Bucc's ranges that I know of. This way I can deduce what is average nowadays. Other than that, I do notice this from other Buccs asking me. Everyone's range is higher than mine, though I don't play for damage as of yet. (Until Revamp maybe)

I never ask anyone for their range. Unless they've asked me before, or they're asking for help with damage(In which case I might ask for their range to see how they're doing). I don't need to compare myself to other Buccaneers; it's not impacting me to know I'm better, or worse(Usually worse) than someone else. My range determines if I can boss, train or do anything else related to damage effectively; not another Bucc's.
Every single Buccaneer I've talked to, including me, is indulging lag spikes every 5 seconds at the moment.
