Donation association to new players
It's 1:50 AM and I'm tired, so yea. I was thinking of starting something like this, or even on my own. I'm just bored these days and I end up tossing mesos from the air using that dragon mount from a hottime event (just for the lulz and it helps noobs, i end up dropping 5mill total every time i do this). Heck, I'm thinking if there are more bored people like me that don't really have anything that they want to spend mesos on, there should be some kind of guild or organization donating mesos to people who actually need them (I'm thinking noobs; even donating 1mill means a lot to them because they can buy pots).
**Even if you guys point out that there is donation king medal, we have to think, where does that money go? Nowhere, except npcs (let's face it, they can eat digital food, they'll survive). Players are spending billions of mesos just to get that medal. Now why don't we get nexon to take some of that money and give it to starting players? New characters?(People may exploit that maybe, but limit it to 1mill-5mill per account).
Just a thought. Please don't kill me, I'm half asleep o.o

Well, it's nice to know that there are still people like you guys, but there are also some that are against this idea( like what AntiSenpai said before about people blaming donators for wanting fame; and, THIS is why I had to stop myself from leaving an omok or something saying "whisper me if you're new and need mesos" )

im all for the help and i do my best to help people who rejoined after a long time or just started
what i dont like though is spoon feeding people
so thats a good idea , for the right people

I used to give away a hundred mil here and there to someone that asked for it or mentioned they didnt have money for something, but now i give away 10-20m to people that needs pots or equips, etc. :s
Well,when I quit,I sold my items and gave away mesos to whoever I had in BL and happen to meet (random strangers) and I do not regret it.
However ,I would totally play again if it weren't for the fact I don't even have meso for potions (even though the game isn't worth it) only because my life isn't worth it either atm (too much free time ,might as well do something that isn't worth it such as MS)
@Frostozen: That's just how people are, they talk crap about people giving things away and don't do anything themselves. I even made a thread a while ago asking for funded people to help me with giving back to the community and got the same response.

OT: I used to do 1 bil giveaways, tried to advertise on here and did it once before I was told that I was just doing it for fame or crap, so I stopped. If I see someone randomly and I made a good bit of meso that day, I give them a few hundred mil and log off.

Yay a reply and s'all good, it's the thought that counts. I'm thinking about trying to get nexon's attention on this. What kind of gaming company wouldn't want to do this? Like you get players who want a medal achievement, they'll end up spending tons of mesos and now you have a bunch of mesos in limbo, somewhere in the system. Might as well give that to new players in order to get the game a good rating, inviting more people to try the game out AND it helps new players.
*edit* @ wingless, you have a fair point, and now I'm just gonna say that I plan to drop pots in the future "IT'S RAINING POTS!"
Or you can just toss pots you get from daily RA, money complicates the situation so if anything drop items. Usually
if someone asks me for money for potion, i think a stack of power elixers would help more than 500k~1m. Also the thing
about the donation medal is like many of meso taking systems, it is used to limit the amount of mesos in circulation. The
meso might go nowhere or it might go into a separate system that distributes it to all monster kills or a system that is used
for item selling. Not that it really matters since to be fair most people don't pick up mesos from killed monsters and that amount
far outweighs any tax equivelent...
