Reboot and summons
Im not sure if other classes have this change as well. But, I know in the up and coming Reboot patch mechs get a new damage formal for their summons.
The notes say the following changes
-Robo Launcher: RM7: damage formula will now use the character’s instead of a summon’s
-Magnetic Field: damage formula will now use the character’s instead of a summon’s
-Robo Factory: RM1: damage formula will now use the character’s instead of a summon’s
So, my questions are....
What is the current method of calculating summon damage?
What will the new one be?
Will they have a critical %?
As I currently hit 12 million with Rock n' Shock and 30 millions Bots n' ToTs.
Im trying to figure out if I'll be able to one hit knock out SDH.

I think all this change does actually allow summons to use your actual range and not your range minus total damage skills.
@siaty I wouldn't be so sure. Souls count as summons, and we already have GMS players that can hit 200mil with their souls (@undexme)
once the formulas are updated and these summons start to get crits I wouldn't be surprised if we had players hitting 1bil dmg within a few months
@siaty: With new damage for summons, and with crits, I should be able to hit over near 100 mil with Bots n' Tots. so im 10% there >.<

also, Damage cap for summons get increased to 1,000,000,000 (1 billion). <3
What is the current method of calculating summon damage?
Something like your clean range x %dmg of the summon skill. It doesn't have any damage cap, but doesn't take account of many buffs and crit.
What will the new one be?
Like the regular skills you are using. It should be taking in account buffs, critical damage and damage cap.
Will they have a critical %?
Yes.

@kuze He thought you meant the world coming with reboot server. Reboot will be a new world that will be the way all of maplestory should be. The skill changes are for every world though. I don't know anything about your damage though.

(If we do get reboot) your character won't carry over from regular maple. Reboot world is a separate world, where you have to create a new character. As to your question about the damage formula for summons(assuming its not the regular damage formula), I'm not sure, sorry.
