Competitive Yugioh Players?

Hey all I was wondering if there's any competitive yugioh players on basil. So are any of you yugioh players? If you are what decks do you run? How well do you do? and where you from?

I used to play competitively with Gravekeepers around the time Envoy came back. But then I quit. Tried coming back to the game on multiple occasions, but the game is too expensive and the meta changed so much that it's hard to keep track of new cards and what not.

I used to top 8 at locals now and then, but never placed anywhere in regionals.

One of my friends place top 8 at a regional in September or November last year using a Harpies though.

Yeup, although I haven't played in a few formats. Got too busy with school and it became expensive to keep up with the game (full time student--last job I had was 2 years ago).

Still enjoy following the game, but unlike any other time I've taken a RL break I haven't actively played DN.
Have a huge collection of high rarity (CP, TU) cards in a binder and a spellground (1994-- they got for around $400) lying around for when I want to continue playing though.

Mermail deck
Swarm method
First turn 3 monster

Or Samurai deck
Swarm method also

People who run burn decks are not annoying, they just burn cards, and you sit there looking at them with the KillaStare
Burn deck take very minimal effort and no skill needed.

Planning on making a tribute deck.
I don't know if it can go against tougher decks lightsworm, Samurai, Fire fist etc...

I'm just waiting for the Korean exclusives to come over in a few years, can't wait for Azathoth turbo with satellars/star seraph, lol. Also, I don't know about the meta rn, but ritual beasts were basically the best otk deck if you knew how to play 'em properly. Played like a more fun Infernity, imo.

@LegitShadow: It's a fun way to play the game. I got too confused with syncro summoning and all that.

True true, @uonatrik true, the I hate Rit Beast, 2slow as well as so much work/combos for so little advancement. Haven't played much trains as you can only play em online cause y'know OCG exclusive. Satellarknikghts have been doing really well lately, been topping a lot of big events and with the Star Seraph support they're expected to win worlds this year.
@Caeg people who play nurse/bad reaction burn are the worst kind of people T-T but I mean eh they're just not as good as they used to be and well... not really super well... consistant

I'm too cheap to buy cards so I play online. I like to use burn decks All I do is stall and wait for gift cards.

Went to locals a few times, played Lightsworns since that was the only deck I had at the time.
Haven't played YGO in a while but I mostly used Beast Tamers, as well as Trains, before all the floodgates were banned/limited. </3
Also played a bit of Satellarknights.
