How does scrolling work?

Hey Basilers!

I was wondering how scrolling works because i'm kind of planning to scroll a Dominator Pendant.
I want to know the chance of how many scrolls it will take to perfect it. (e.g. how many shield scrolls)
Like what is the chance of hitting 7 70%'s in a row? Could anyone give me a formula?
Could anyone help me please?
Thanks.
P.S. I know that Nexon's scrolling thing is wayyy off, but i wondered what is the % theoretically.
It doesn't work that way. However, if you get 10 people to scroll something with ONE 70% scroll, there should be around 7 people out of 10 who succeeded in scrolling. If you plan on using more than one, you must factor in another 70% chance and so forth.
I was unclear sorry, yea I know what you mean, like a tree diagram with 70% true, 30% false and so on..

Way to proof that the chance of all 7 scrolls working in a row is not 70%.
Get 10 people to scroll something with seven 70% scrolls, there should be around 7 people (which would most unlikely happen) out of 10 who gets a +7 item if the chance was 70%. This is basically representing each person as a 70% scroll.
Was unaware that those existed.
I was just thinking, why not get more att.

On another note. Whats with people saying others are wrong, then actually providing proof lately. I've never seen anything like this on basil before. I'm really liking it though.
It's wrong due to the fact you are comparing a video game with real life math. Yes it makes sense and should be that way but it's programmed to be that % all the time.

dunno if they use a random number generator eg. numbers 1 to 10, numbers 1 to 3 means fail and 4 to 10 means success

if you can afford a dominator pendant i'm sure you also have the means to buy shield scrolls to scroll it perfectly.

Chaos of Goodness, with Lucky Day?
Remember there are those guardian scrolls and those other weird scrolls which'll help you clean if you lose any slots, and there will also be 10% slates in the sengoku shop.

Best of luck to you mate.

Each scroll is it's own. Don't listen to these people about chances as yes that make sense for the real world. However, in video games it isn't like that. If it says 70% then it will be 70% chance no matter what. Tired of these people's comments about how they relate the real world to a video game.
