I was just comparing the fact that you say you're gonna dish out 50-100m (you mentionned wanting to get one) for a Flamekeeper, when for that price you can get an Empress glove.
I was lucky to get mine just passing through to go to cwkpq. Before that though I grinded for about an hour and gave up. Easier to buy if you really want one.

Seeing as how you're 140, as how Empress items are cheap as heck, even if you did not want to bother with high level equips, a DTM glove beats out a Flamekeeper anyday.
It's not like it's the least bothersome to dish out about the same/less mesos for a better item.

Firebrand (2). The second (flaming) form of Firebrands, on your way to CWK, or in the keep itself (there's a room with firebrands).
Not worth it. Empress items are so cheap nowadays.
Even if Flamekeepers are 8 matk, they're only tier 2. Empress gloves are tier 3, and it's easy to get 4 piece set and an extra 15 matk.
I never bothered to learn where they drop, by the way.

They never stopped dropping. They are just so rare, that nobody bothers.
