Well i have this feeling thy are gonna push Phantom back one more month and might be coming out in August. If u look at the website it says Release Date 7/2 for Phantom meaning that the info will be out at that time and that is also when Jett is coming out..... I dont care about Jett. After seeing the Dragon warrior videos i got this feeling they are going to do pretty much the same with Jett. Get some other skills and put it on Jett and call it a new job. Thumbs up we GMS did so much work to make this.

@AsukuraExZ: All the things that I listed are very settle differences and doesn't contribute to the LARGER picture of whats "old" maplestory. Even if you were to say the GREEN MUSHROOMS on the TOP PLATFORM of HHG1 isn't there, making it not "original", its the same concept with the town maps, just small things. And its really pathetic to say its not "old" maplestory. [i](and yes I know what HHG1 was like even in 2007 and the background is pretty much the same)[/i]

And to be honest, I dont know what you classify as "old" maple, some people could be complaining about the town maps, some are about the hunting grounds. Most are original backgrounds. Again, if youre just nit-picking on the small things like certain monsters are spawning where they're suppose to be or portals aren't where they were before, maybe you shouldnt be nostalgic about anything.

I never said [i]NOR[/i] consider that at this very second, pre-ascensions or pre-chaos would be considered "old" maplestory. If you compare NOW to the what you stated the "2009 version", NOW would be the renovated maps and that would be the older maps. Its like if you moved. You'll still have all your furniture and stuff, but you moved your "OLD" home to another house, your NEW/current home.

I dont know that if there's a way or not to have both Maplestorys, but before trying to run two clients on one computer (yeah i know its illegal, you dont need to hammer on me with that too), its pretty much a lag-fest.

I've lost my respect with you if you want to play the "hey youre PROBABLY a new player who knows all the old stuff because of threads" card. I can tell you that almost no one has mentioned the 7-11, RiteAid, CVS in the nostalgia threads because it HAPPENED ONCE in [url=http://i47.tinypic.com/4vs57n.jpg]2007[/url] and it wasn't even a GREAT event. So no, I wont get over myself because you failed to understand my point and like being all "judgy-judgy" on me

I did say that this version was when Maple began to drastically change, also I mentioned it's 09. So you could infer from all that it would be a version of maple before all that change or before 2009.

This version is no different than the changes before 2009. The only changes are the MapleTV, the shortcut portals across town, the 7-11, RiteAid & CVS stands. Yes, the Maple Island is different, but its about 70% the same as the version before the apple suit factory. Its not a drastic, life-changing Maplestory, compared to the Big Bang changes.

Get over myself because youre "annoyed" that I called YOU out for complaining its not old maple? Like I said, what is considered "old maple"? You want the gem cursor to be back? Mai to be back where she's SUPPOSE to be? Everyone has their own definition of "old maple" because of their own Maple journey. But if youre just complaining over minor changes like Inkwell, Gaga and certain platforms not being where they're suppose to be, thats really lame. Youre just picking at itty-bitty things instead of looking at the BIG picture. And quite frankly pre-big bang is OLD maplestory. I highly doubt Nexon would have the original (beta) maps on file, seeing that the 7-11, RiteAid, CVS are sketched RIGHT in.

I wish they never revamped the Maple World. Skills and classes fine but, the maps were fine. They inspired and advocated adventure and exploration. Now we are left with a basic, boring pathway that exists to make it easier to get around, not more fun.

This event is a poor excuse for a tease.

I hate it when people say "its not old maple". whats considered "old" maple anyways? during beta? before the alt+jump? WHEN THE APPLE SUIT WAS THERE? Everything's pretty much 85% "the classic old maple" besides Maple Island and 7-11, RiteAid, CVS stands.

OT: I'd admit they over-advertised the whole event, claiming its the [url=http://maplestory.nexon.net/News/News.aspx?boardNo=103&contentNo=00Dyr&pageIndex=1]biggest, best class reunion yet[/url]. But like I said before, there's NO WAY they can put in old maple ON TOP of the current maple. I think my computer would die or lag like crazy.

I'm neutral about it. I wished they have everything though but maybe that's too much to ask.
