Your skin might be irritated, have you shaved your armpits recently? Make sure you dry out your armpits after a shower and use some talc-on powder. Try not to use deodorant and see if that reduces the irritation.

I personally use sheers to shave my pits and pubes, doesn't get itchy after the first time.
rub it with salty ice.
Sell your carpets.
