Because Nexon didnt code the droprate bonus to affect reactors. The only exception affecting a reactor are the drop rate modifiers that are specific for herbs or veins, but those dont affect other than those anyways.

Since it has gone like this for years(actually since drop rate modifiers were released), i dont see Nexon changing it anytime soon.

You don't, it doesn't make any difference for Gollux, since Gollux' Heart is a reactor.

I'm not sure if I'm just crazy, but it seems like I get more coins+equips drops from gollux when I use a drop familiar before killing it.

Vellum and Von Bon only, this comes from personal experience

From what I believe, its just the bosses that actually drop their items, and don't spawn a box. In normal, that's Von Bon and Vellum, not sure about CRA.

This goes for their normal versions as well though right?

Nobody can agree on them. Anybody that gives you a definitive answer isn't actually sure.

One person says only Von Bon and cvellum and the other says all cra bosses. I'm not sure myself but I always use drop multipliers anyways. Why not right

Anything that's a "box" isn't affected by % drop. Gollux, Queen, Pierre... CVB and Cvellum are affected though.

only the first one is effect by drop rate the rest when they die become boxes you have to open
