Everyone is going on strike

I don't know how many people know or care about this, but it's becoming a really odd theme here.

In Nova Scotia (especially Halifax), it seems like just about every union is having contracts run out and strike votes/talks are happening everywhere.

Ever since the transit (bus) strike 6 weeks ago many other parties have began to go into talks of striking.

I can't even name all the different places that have talked about strikes, the fact that Air Canada almost went on one too just seemed all too appropriate based on whats been happening here.

On top of all this, some faculty at my school (Dalhousie university) can go on strike starting Monday unless some last minute deal is reached. Even if they don't go on strike, 2 weeks later a different union at the school can go on strike.

Anyways, haven't really been on Basil much in awhile, decided to try and kick off some conversation. I doubt everywhere else is going through the same, but it's just been odd here, and since I rarely see Halgonians on basil I'm not surprised I haven't really heard of it.
