Launching Maple from chrome may break for good soon
As many of you know, the play button to start maple broke not too long ago. Just recently, nexon released their [url=http://maplestory.nexon.net/news/news/current/00ISB/google-chrome-web-launch-issue#]fix[/url] to get it working again. You might notice you have to re-enable something called "NPAPI".

That override will disappear later this year, in Chrome 45, when Google completely removes support for the NPAPI from the browser."
It sounds like the play button may permenantly break for chrome soon and that Nexon is just using a temporary fix.
Does anyone start the game from chrome? I think I've used the game launcher since the very beginnning o.o

It's not against ToS anymore from my understanding

I only do it because I hate having to log in and out whenever I want to switch characters LOL

Nexon only allows you to play with one account anyways. Multiaccounting (especially when playing with more than one account at the same time) is bannable for a reason.

I only use one account anyways so it's not a big deal for me. I haven't had crashes all that often.

WHY?
@KaichouShion They say to Click the Enable button, restart, and make sure it says "Disable" to indicate that its enabled.
@MystiicAran I used firefox for a while. I switched to chrome though since It makes use of multiple cores a lot better and won't crash the whole browser if one of the websites in your tabs decides to freeze up
Nexon tells you to disable it, not enable.

I never liked using the Play Button to begin with. I've always used the Game Launcher.
You needa get with the times and switch over to firefox.

Your chrome is probably not up to date. You could alternatively just use older versions of chrome to keep using the 'play button' but it's a pretty bad idea
