This is all Nexon has to do. Remove all exp gained from the monsters. Then no one can train there anymore. They can change the end PQ exp to so much , that people can level 1-2x just finishing it without killing much. (so starting now on pretty much speed running only. And when they do 2x EXP they should also do 2x Party Exp...
And as for the end PQ exp, players can have 1 free level only at the lower stages (like level 30-90) because if that apply for the higher stages(91+), then it is stupid.. since everyone would be leveling so fast...

If they were fun.
I couldn't care less about leveling the way it's valued today in Maplestory.

Yeah I remember the days when I slaved away at RnJ just to get enough of those etcs for a pendant because I considered it to be a good reward (despite all those annoying people who didn't know how to do the pq properly and just left halfway) and now no one even finishes the pq. To me, a party quest means you work as a party so you should actually use party chat or at least talk to each other and make things fun but now a lot of monsters can be soloed by players and people just spam buttons and pq to level and I find it sad and lonely.
personally the age of CPQ was the best time in maple.
However, the only reason why cpq was so good was because there wasnt any potencial system. if you compared the rich to the poor back then, at most the richest player will only do double the damage as a poor player. Thus it was fair in both sides.
But if they release cpq now, then it just becomes a battle of who has more $$$, since right now a rich player is literally doing 200 times more damage then a unfunded player.

So the best way imo is to make PQs faster training, while also making it competative regardless of funds. So even the loser can gain good rewards but not as much as the winner
Is the concept of spending more money to do more damage unfair to you?
Competitive? Isn't that why we have cross world?
I'd have to go for leveling, there were PQs such as Kentas that gave good rewards (Only readily obtainable glasses at the time iirc), but they were just so boring to do.

Also funny as you basically described CPQ: Fastest leveling, good rewards, and competitive.
CPQ was one of my favorite parts of this game. I would have played it from level 15-210 if possible. However I wouldn't say it's the absolute fastest leveling nor did it really give good rewards. Right now it's possible to get to 200 in what, 20 hours? So maybe a 5-10 hour PQ that started at level 1 and ended at 200. But then again, that would probably make other parts of the game obsolete.

I would do pqs if they were actually CHALLENGING with DECENT rewards/exp.

now every darn stage is just kill monsters, get exp, kill monsters, get exp, AGAIN AND AGAIN >.<

I forgot to say fun. FUNNNN!

I actually really enjoy CPQ and PvP. Most people enjoy CPQ because of the competitiveness+fun and easy way to level and I enjoyed PvP just beause it was different and fun before it was screwed over (owning with my NW in the 3rd job was amazing)
