Java Updater Should I update?
From time to time, my computer tells me update Java. However, I've had problems with Java and I'm not sure if it will harm my computer.
I mean, I don't want any viruses on my computer.
How do I make sure it's legit? (It does look legit, but I'm not 100% sure)
I can see if this sounds really stupid, but better safe than sorry.

I uninstalled java from all of my pcs a long time ago 'cause I feel like it's pretty darn useless.

erm, a while ago I also heard something bad going around in a java update? .. ah, I don't remember the specifics..

Java is constantly (and annoyingly) updating their program. It's terrible, but I've never once had a virus problem or anything like that.
Java has updates frequently. It either came with your computer or you installed it, that's how you know it's legit.
