Hp cost and damage decrease

I started playing my DA for fun and had a few questions:

1) When I'm training/bossing, I find that spamming execute always gets my HP low very quickly. Am I doing something wrong or do I just need to keep using overload release/vitality veil?
2) I've noticed that my damage range decreases when my HP decreases down to a minimum of about 30% of my max HP. Is this because the HP boost from diabolic recovery does not apply or am I missing something?

Just keep nether shield going as often as you can and that'll heal up whatever HP you lose from using Execution.

1) Nothing wrong just have your nether shield up and it shouldn't be much of a problem.
After you get your hyper, forbidden contract "Consumes 5000 HP, increasing Max HP by 30% for 30 seconds. Disables HP consumption of skills. Cooldown Time: 90 seconds"

2)"This has been tested to be accurate to within 0.1% at reasonably high levels. [CurrentHP / 9 + STR] * 1.3 * WA / 100"

Bossing on bosses without i frames should be real easy to keep your hp above 70% all the time.

3) A simple google would have saved you hours spent waiting for a reply.

1) DA uses HP as their skill consumption, adding onto that you get hit most of the times by mobs. Naturally your hp will decrease quite fast.
2) DA has their damage peaked with your current HP. The less current hp you have, the lower yor range will become.
