They are a box contained with supprise equip items. Anything "Cash Equip" could be contained. But it is surprise so you don't know what you are getting. Usually they range from 50m+ unless its like those dainty cape or strawberry sword which I see a lot in fm for around 20m. When you are selling be careful and really look for the price of the item. They usually want to buy them cheap and ya.... if you don't know enough you sell it for a real cheap price *personal experience*

Unfortunately 100k NX is nothing compared to what some people spend on this game. I spent 50k nx on getting a hairstyle for my phantom and then quit it a week later. I've went on multiple 200k+ nx cubing and marvel sprees and I used 435k nx worth of cubes one miracle time (and got crap results). I'm just glad that I'm done spending money on this game

To be honest if you get a minimum wage job while at school you can make a few hundred dollars every few weeks. And this summer with a job you can get few hundred in just 2 weeks. And to be fair when you're putting thousands in the bank while going to school I think it's reasonable to splurge $100 on a game. That's pretty much buying 2 games for a console no?
OT: surprise boxes look like your best bet now. But hey, if you're feeling lucky then do what the other people said.
