Taking Act tomorrow
Does anyone on basil have any tips? This is my first time taking the ACT. I've taken the SAT before twice but i still couldnt get the score i wanted. I decided to try and take the ACT to see if pure knowledge based tests would help me rather than logic based. I heard it is like a giant marathon where you have to be completely focused to answer as much as you can.

@MapleFacez: it's not extremely easy (it is at the beginning, but it gets a bit harder). I generally get stuck on one question and then waste a ton of time. Just make sure to read the question properly and answer what's asked, and if you get stuck on a question, skip it and come back to it after you finish the test. If you run out of time and don't have time to do the question then, just fill in B or something

Yeah i heard it is easy to move fast on the math section because it's really easy math..but i think if i find the answer is too easy to get, ill focus on it because im paranoid ill be wrong >_<
You only really need to know how to do math.

I actually liked the act a lot better than the sat and found it easier to focus. You just need to make sure to move quickly enough on reading, science, and possibly math. Also, science is logic based, not reason, and the same thing for reading for the most part
Dont leave anything blank
