Turning in Red tickets for coins

So the description on these things says:
If you look at the ticket REAL CLOSE, there is a message that says, "3 will get you 30, 4 to 6 will get you 50, 7 to 9 will get you 80, 10 will get you a 100."

Is it just Nexon's fail math again that the most efficient way to turn these in is in groups of 4?
(net 12.5 coins per ticket)

Turning in 28 tickets:

1) 7 sets of 4 tickets = 7 x 50 = 350 coins
2) 4 sets of 7 tickets = 4 x 80 = 320 coins

Turning these in groups of 4 is obviously better.

4 is better. It's 12.5 coins per ticket while 7 gives just above 11 coins per ticket.

It's probably for those people who don't want to bother turning in smaller amounts at a time.

I didn't notice Nexon's fail math, thanks TS. I'll be sure to remember this when RED hits.

@CallingCard: you would turn in 4 tickets at a time and not groups of 10.

from this system, if i had 10 accounts that had a total of 70 RED tickets, and each account had 7 tickets, i would end up with more RED coins than someone with 10 tickets on 7 characters or all 70 on one character?

I actually wouldn't have noticed if you didn't point it out because I'm stupid and who actually looks at it "real close?"
But good job It's probably fail math.
