Reverse Maplestory - Good or Bad?

This is just for fun and I was just pondering this while I read other threads.

I am just curious; if this was ever implemented would anyone actually participate in it? More or less for a bit of different game play. Maybe something along the lines of how Supreme World is working in which it rewards your main character for doing certain tasks in that world. Same would go for Reverse.

What do I mean by "Reverse Maplestory"? o.o

What I mean is that everyone would start at Max level and experience bar and the objective of said world would be to lose levels. You are able to add all your SP and AP like normal and there would be no mastery books, since there is no point in them. It would have it's own leader board and Level 1 would be the goal in this version. So when you are out training - all experience you would earn, would instead decrease your experience bar. Each time you lost a level you would also lose 5 points to whatever AP stat you have the most of automatically. (I.e. Your strength is 999 at 200 - you "De-Leveled" to 199 and your strength is automatically dropped 5 points to 994) Your SP however would be chosen by yourself when you de-leveled. So you are able to chose which skill you wanted to lose SP from first - this was not allowed to be dropped into another skill because after you take those points out of said skill, they are gone. Your max HP and MP would continue to lose their strengths as well while you descended levels. Meaning: You could not have let's say 10k HP at level 40 for instance. You would have HP equivalent to that level.

Equipment would also be a factor in which once you lost the level requirement to wear said item, you could not wear it again for that character. Dying in this world would actually make you gain experience instead of losing it like in regular Maplestory. Then when you hit 100 you would have to 'advance' to your 3rd job, otherwise if you were to continue to kill during 4th job you would start gaining experience again. (The point of all this is to be reversed) Same would go for 70 - you would have to 'advance' to 2nd job, 30 for 1st, 10 for beginner, until you are finally level 1 and complete with the world, for that character. HP and MP potions would also work the same way they do. Ditto for the skills for each job - just they would get weaker as you play because you are taking points out of them as you go.

So what do you all think? Remember this is just for fun and is in no ways a serious suggestion - unless everyone seems to like the idea. o.o In which, we will submit it as a serious suggestion to Nexon. <3

Why is everyone saying its pointless? You play this game for fun right? Does everything have to be about damage instead of fun? I think playing reverse would be a cool and fun idea.

Sheesh, sad people don't want content unless it gives you more damage.

Kill Empress at L20 for a 0.1% chance to drop L0 pants. Brilliant.

Seems rather pointless...unless there's some sort of reward system to doing this.

It'd completely get rid of the necessity for damage as well, which would probably be counterproductive to the idea that Nexon continues to sell to the consumers--e.g. damage is good (thus the whole sale on protection scrolls, etc)

It's sort of creative, but really impractical.
