Why Do You Play Maplestory?
Does anybody else play Maplestory BECAUSE it's 2D? I know I do.
I like how we can use the F# keys like emoticons. It's a fun way to chat.
There's something about 3D games that I don't really like (lol bad graphics card). Effective chatting is pretty hard in a 3D MMORPG game but I guess everything has its pros and cons.
Seriously if Maplestory didn't take 5 mins to open, didn't shut the entire game down if I had no internet and the god damn login screen didn't need to rely on an internet connection, I would totally use Maplestory as a messenger. Legit.
I also play Maplestory because I can talk to friends and it doesn't have that much of an FPS problem. It can also be playable when I have capped internet which is really good. Last but not least, DON'T NEED A MOUSE! So why do you play Maple?

It's hard to navigate in 3D games like how I was moving my character around in circles in mabinogi
Maplestory is Original and so many games out there are wannabes and copy it so much, as far as artwork and mounts and such. and There is Dragon Nest which is a 3D game by Nexon that is a very good game (for PVP)

Honestly I quit this game a long ass time ago... but I guess I keep coming back because of the nostalgia. There is still a little bit of the original game left but it has changed so much. TBH 5th job advancement is whats keeping me going now. So many classes, so many 5th job skills.

Every 3d MMO i've ever played really SUCK big time and feel VERY low quality.
yeah i really like chat in 2d games much simpler
I don't really like 3D games cos it's kinda hard to navigate around...2D maps make it really easy to move around since its just 2 dimensions...
I play BasilStory more than MapleStory. o.o
