Uso Mens Final

Nishikori's been playing unbelievable tennis this year. His level has been on par with the top 3 (40-9) record and he's proven he can hang with the big boys (Defeated Fed a couple times, was toying w/ Nadal on clay in Madrid before an unfortunate injury, and of course he's fought through a really tough draw in this current US Open: Roanic, Wawrinka, and Djokovic). Haven't really been following Cilic as much as big server's bore me but he's been having a pretty nice run himself. My money is on Kei though as he's survived Roanic's 30+ aces and has a 5-2 h2h vs Cilic.

Edit: whoa surprising, Nishikori can't seem to get his first serve in for his life and is playing unusually passive. I feel sorry for him, not really playing in form at all he looks really frustrated, first time I've seen him angry enough to almost smash his racquet. I still have faith in him though w/ his 5 set history.

Edit: Cilic won, Nishikori couldn't seem to get past his nerves for a large part of the entire match. I'm sure this won't be his last chance though however.

He had openings but the pressure forced him into some bad decisions. One of the things that separates him from other young guys is his shot making talent in big points but today he had some big misses over and over. Cilic was making some really nice shots but I think Nishikori def. was way too passive like OP said.

I'm rooting for Nishikori 100%. I've been a big fan of his for awhile now, and am hoping he can get his first grand slam title today! Cool to see another tennis fan here
