Saint Seiya or Fate series?

So after a hiatus of watching anime for a couple of months I recently transitioned into it subtly of watching Akame ga Kill which I thought was pretty good and will probably read the manga at some point, and Nanatsu no taizai and I actually think this anime will make my top 15s or possibly 10s. So now that I'm waiting for seven deadly sins to air weekly I'm debating if I should start Saint Seiya or the Fate series. I love greek mythology so I guess Saint Seiya has that going for it however the greatest setback for me is the animation. I've heard great feedback about Seiya but I don't know if I can survive the animation to make it to Omega. Then there is the Fate series and I enjoy the concept of historical figures fighting each other but I think I might be more interested in Saint Seiya. Even though these are just two anime I thought about perhaps a suggestion would be nice too. I usually watch shonen anime basically the Big 3 and pretty much everything that was popular except AOT. I also really liked Claymore, too bad the manga ended kind of choppy but oh well.

i had to force myself to watch seiya, ended up dropping it. i felt it was too repetitive.
fate was amazing imo, never a dull moment
I read a MyAnimeList Saint Seiya manga review that it has a strongly used phenomenon that my charismatic @demonlord who I admire from afar would call "ass pulls". I only seen a vulgar 3 episode abridged series of Saint Seiya & the artwork looks okay.
Well, Yeah. It is a traditional Shonen. It has all of those cliche tropes in it.

Also, I would take everything from MAL with a grain of salt though. Sword Art Online is rated at a 8.13.

OP: I would go with Fate. I grew up watching Seiya and I've finished ~90% of all Fate and in my opinion, Fate was much more enjoyable.

if you are watching the fate series, do NEVER EVER WATCH THE DEEN VERSION. they butchered it hard. just watch the animes made by studio ufotable with their godlike animation.
...wait, how did the manga end choppy? It was open-ended without exploring all the conflicts, but it wasn't really all that choppy...unless that's some kind of lame pun with the swords.
I guess so choppy probably wasn't the word for it, maybe rushed? I really wanted them to go more in depth of the dragon descendants and the war on the other continent.
