Thats the concept, baseball cards, stamps and coins are not just about rarity they are also about historical value but the origin of chairs is just nexon gachapon

like saying I paid a lot of real money to get this just because I had to pay a lot of money to get it >.<

Even if it's not about prices, they're collectables. All collectables have a certain value given to them by those who choose to collect.

You never heard of stamp collectors? How about collecting baseball cards? Coins? I could keep going...

I only sit on chairs that match my outfit.

For example: Right now my new bishop has that Hyper outfit that they gave out for free. It's a bee. So I bought that fake non-floating Jeweled Maple Chair from the 8th anniversary shop, and it matches perfectly

people can spend money on chairs if they like o.o the most ive ever payed for a chair was 20m but that was a long time ago. everything after that has been from events. though having all those expensive chairs makes you a likely target for....well you know

Only chairs I ever bother getting are the ones that I don't need to spend money on. I also bought a Sheep Chair because I just love that chair. That's all though.

@dragon2923: lol dont get me wrong, i wont spend max mesos or even 1b on a chair. I like to collect em. Ill spend 300-400m every once in a while for a chair. Let people spend their money they want

By spamming in fm, what exactly do you do? If you're trying to buy someone off of someone for cheap and make more from it, that's still luck for the fact that you found them/they came to you.

I made my mesos relying on effort more than luck itself. I'll list out a few examples of my income before:
- Everyone used to APQ all the time to sell apples (which are now currently worth 15m+), ch 1's entrance is a ghost town because everyone believes it's still glitched even though it's not and trying to find a party to go with everyday, not everyone is obligated enough to go on; people have stuff to do.
- Selling 2x EXP party buffs with rep; 2m per person, no longer available because Nexon nerfed it to 1.5x with a single user
- Steelies used to cost 7m each, now probably considered useless (can't even sell them for under 400k each) because barely anyone makes an NL
- Monster Crystal 2 used to cost 1m+ each for the maker skill (100 of level 110-119 monster drops makes a crystal), now rendered useless because of Ardent
- 95% of the ores are rendered useless for the same reason as the above; I do recall gold plates, LUK + Wisdom crystals being the only useful ones only for androids and these ores don't drop 100% of the time from mining
- Equips and weapons used to cost around 300k+ each to the NPC, now it's under 40k each which is a pathetic amount; even no one buys clean equips anymore and only after level 140+ stuff (which is understandable)

There's much more to include, that's just a sample. :L

Technically the only best usage of chairs would be in dojo's resting areas; helps speeds up the time to recover your HP + MP. On a day that I was extremely bored, I decided to get my MM's HP down to under 10 and stood there without moving for about 2 and a half hours just to recover 15k HP (don't exactly remember the time but you can do the math) and that was my maximum HP back then (I now have 20.4k HP up to this day with no expiring items).

Yeah, in general, they're overrated.

I like the Zombie Hunter Chair though. I only know one person who has it (my friend) and hopefully he gives it to me when he quits.

It is when your main resources are cut off from the past or rendered useless up to the present day. Finding someone selling something cheap, you buy it and sell it for more is honestly a matter of luck for you rather than mostly effort.

OT: I only collect chairs if I see them for a cheap price or get them from events, I'm not a hardcore collector. My most expensive one would be my BloodyRose chair which I bought for 400m which is still under the average price today (800m+), that's honestly the only chair that I'm the most fond of.

@mo0o0ody Actually a lot of people collect them - when you double click on a character it shows a list of your chairs... So basically they are a show of someones wealth ;l they were added into the game for fun...

If you think potions are are not a necessity ok. But chairs are great at healing at lower levels when you aren't funded, the cheapest chair you can get easily are the best ones but take longer to heal yourself. The other ones are just crap but healing on those chairs are 50x better but why waste millions/billions on them?

But in all serious - I believe it's up to the player what they want to spend their meso on. Like someone such as myself enjoys exploring the FM and buying a pile of random crap... everyone gets different enjoyments out of the game XD

I love Chairs... Especially my bloody rose and my Easter Egg chair that @zoneflare2 bought for me long ago <3 I have noticed though that they aren't as popular as they were 2-3 years ago though

I think they're kind of silly, but everyone has their own opinion and thoughts towards each aspect of this game.
I like collecting bandanas and other hats, when they have no real point, either I guess it's the same as collecting chairs; just for the heck of it, and for a bit of the appearance when using it.
