So what did you guys get from Wonder trade in Pokemon X Y
Been trying out wonder trade for the past hour and it's pretty cool. I gave a bunch of sandiles and hippotomas (I think that's how you spell it) and got a wide variety of Pokemon. I got like 2 caterpies, a charmander, pikachu, jynx, machop, sneasel, and a lucario. It's a pretty cool feature. I'll try to be nicer when I finish the game and get a ditto and breed eggs of my starters.

A lot of people give and receive weaker pokemon they hatch they're trying to make their team. The first pokemon I IV bred was trapinch, and I saved about 12 of the 4-IV ones (had many more, but some didn't have speed or attack, so I released those because they'd weaker).
I've done similar stuff for most of the pokemon I've bred. I always save one extra so I can re-breed later if I want, but I'll release the bad offspring and wonder trade the ones worth while. I also have given away things like Aggron, Clawitzer, any starter poke (if I already had one, I threw it back in WT), gengar, etc. I just like giving things away that have some value to people. I hate when I get bunnelby or fletchling, so I've stopped returning any that I have received. I just release them. Many people seem to be nice enough not to put in bunnelbys or similar pokemon, so I've got many interesting trades. The "best" pokemon I got so far is a single Zygarde, which I'm saving to use on GTS when I have a pokemon in mind that I want (probably after pokemon bank comes out).
I just got the fire starter from wonder trade and a level 1 sneasel with pokerus. Woot

It's cool and fun, but you're most likely not going to get anything super cool, like a Flygon or Dragonite or whatever. (Unless they did a Wonderlocke and have to wonder trade it or something). You usually end up getting really lame stuff like Scatterbug and Pikachu. But you never know, so you can get some fun stuff if you trade a lot like I do.

Quite a mix now. Got quite a few Ralts, Froakies (Protean ones as well as Torrent ones) and an Imposter Ditto among many others. Some of them I didn't expect at all, seeing how most of the ones I'm trading are just Skrelps.
The most common Pokemon I get are Froakie (Guessing people are breeding for shiny Protean ones), Eevee, and Panpour surprisingly.
Best one I've ever got was a Haunter which evolved into a Gengar, so that was nice

I quit at Ruby/Firered... You,you wipper snappers and yur new "wireless and Internet capabilities" I had wires! sweet sweet wires.
