Why should Feminism be relevant in the west today? Women in most first world countries have already achieved social, political and legal equality. The movement itself started with the goal of extending suffrage rights to all women. It has done that and many more. Now that its reached its limits, why should it still be relevant in the west, today? The civil rights movement has ended, yet not one civil rights law has been redacted. So the argument that women rights will be gone can be brushed aside. Too much of anything is bad for everyone and it's obvious at this point that feminism is being pushed against its natural death as a movement, much to society's detriment. It has become toxic and needs to go.
