Fate/Stay Night

So after watching Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works episode 0, I felt like I was missing many pieces of information about this anime. I looked around and saw that there was multiple Fate animes around, what is the order that I'm supposed to watch this anime in? Thank you.

You could watch Fate/Zero or F/SN first, either way you're gonna be confused as you won't understand everything unless you saw the other series as well. However, since you already started F/SN UBW (2014), I suggest finishing it before going onto F/Z during the summer (after you finish 2nd cour of F/SN).

@0Kkevqn Honestly it probably doesn't even matter at this point since everything has a relation or connection in some way. All of the type-moon stuff is just alternate versions of the same universe and at some point it has just become preference as to what you should watch and when.

Watch the tsukihime anime for sure, then go with the 2006 DEEN version then watch the UBW movie by DEEN.

Don't watch anything done by Studio Deen.[/quote]

This exactly.

Dont worry when you watch episode 1 and 2 everything is explained. There is not need to watch the ones previously.

Don't watch fate/zero first, it spoils a lot of stuff that you aren't really supposed to know until after f/sn and the part that comes after it.

never watch the 2006 fate anime. never.
you can watch fate/zero first, but i'd recommend not. it was written after the fsn visual novel and intended as a companion piece. just because it takes place before f/sn doesn't mean you should watch it first!

Fate/Zero comes first so watch that. Then you can watch fate/stay night or fate stay night unlimited blade works which is the revamped version from what someone tells me.
Edit: I never knew it wasn't supposed to be watched first..I actually really understood fate stay night and enjoyed it more thoroughly than fate zero
