Did anyone else get a LGR that doesn't buff?

out of 3 high lvl inactive accounts, i got the LGR and wolf card on 2 lols seems easy to get on high lvl accounts.

my lower lvl accounts all got the same, 5k maple points and stuff, no ring or card ;3 not complaining about free stuff though

pretty sure you cannot get the package with lgr and wolf with a very inactive and low level mule. So far, it only happened to semi-inactive and high lvl accounts.

The thing is that many people are viewing this package as a reward of sorts and now feel they're entitled to something.

It isn't and they technically aren't. It's just another thing that's supposed to lure potential quitters back to the game. That's why it contains actually useful items such as an Aura Ring, a pet and a Maplepoint coupon. It's no different from the "Welcome back! Choose between these three Cash Shop thingamabobs!" pop-up we got some time ago (and which game me three useless Balrog pets). It just contains more and [i]that[/i] is why this is somehow less acceptable. To be honest the number of items I got made me feel a bit uncomfortable, especially since I'm a non-paying player and didn't ever do anything in Maple that I should be rewarded for in this manner.

I don't really know if Nexon's been giving out many freebies to staying and paying players lately. If not, I do think that's in order for a couple of reasons.

I pretty much haven't played for 4 months and I came back to sell my stuff and logged on my other old account in Windia which isn't the main server I played in. My mule got the LGR and wolf package and I was like wow really nexon... trying to get me to stay f3. P/C Wolf in Windia lol?

I think a welcome back box is great, but when there are items worth 15+..it's too much. As mentioned on the forum, it was a way to bring players back into the game. According to a post, those who were inactive did not participate in events and as a result, they deserve what they got. I disagree...I feel that players who were active and participated in events didn't simply achieve items or mesos by logging in ( unless hot- time ), in fact we literally worked ourselves to make the most of them. I do feel salty about this, mules and inactive players got what a lot of players would be grateful to receive, and in this case, inactive accounts did in one hit. I sincerely hope Nexon takes notice that active players are feeling left out and are starting to believe that becoming inactive would enable them to receive these kinds of items.

This is exactly why people are complaining.. People who don't play anymore gets package/wolf, and people who are loyal to the game gets nothing.
(Disclaimer: I don't play either so I really don't care. Edit: I hope Wolf familiars start flooding the FM cause I need one LOL.. then I'll quit til the summer).

Not every inactive mule got the wolf familiar, maybe only 10%-20 at best, of all accounts that got the package at all.

I'm pretty positive that only a small fraction of "inactive mules" even got the gift in the first place, and only high level accounts of around level 200 got the one with the 1year LGR/20k MP/ Wolf Familiar.

And even then, that doesn't guarantee it. Two out of three level 200 char accounts I had got the wolf as well as 20k MP, but the third one didn't and only got 5k MP for some reason only Nexon knows.

My friend who had at least ten, maybe twenty accounts that haven't been logged on recently- some of which were over level 140, but they didn't get a single package containing a wolf.

And before anyone says anything... I don't even play the game, so the one time I got "lucky" doesn't even matter anymore.

Which cash shop ring are you talking about? I got a perma cs aura ring, but it's +5 all stat. I mean that's not very over kill.
Also, is there like any note for the list of things you can possibly get?
I really don't think nexon gave away the wolf fam alone. My buddy just returned from a 6 months break, and he got a legendary booster pack. There's like a very very small chance to get wolf from that booster pack. On top of that, most people didn't even get the booster pack.
People already confirmed that the LGR isn't perma, and you cannot extend the date over 1 year. I mean who's really going to cube a godly ring that only lasts 1 year, might as well just work on a gollux ring.

Chances of getting the wolf fam is very low. My buddies and I tried, but no one got the wolf. There is 10k maple points too, but not in every box. Most boxes only get 2k.
Also, the pets aren't perma either, at least not in any of the ones we got.

I'm not trying to defend them, they did the same crap in Dragon Nest and Combat Arms before and it felt as bad, it was a bad move, but people are also overreacting over it.

The fact that the chance to get the familiar is so low is enough to make all this drama look more ridiculous than it already is, it's not like a large amount of people got it, just a few lucky folks.

and none of those add up to a 10bil familiar even if chances of it are slim. Normally I do agree with you about the entitlement issue, but this time nexon has gone too far. This is only discouraging current players and encouraging mule abuse and people who spent who knows how much money to get that thing in the first place.

if the familiar was untradeable I probably wouldn't care as much. seems kinda unfair for players who barely play anymore get a 10bil item off the bat while i play regularly and struggle to make over 1bil

I think it's a bit overkill tbh..I don't care about people getting a limited time LGR, it's the 15b Familiar that is TRADEABLE that is bothersome to me.

it was not random, apparently characters around 200 ish got the familiar & the lgr
so if none of your accounts were around lvl 200 you wont get those items

I am kinda salty about the familiar since I'm busting my ass for every mil. Apparently everyone didn't get it, but it's still overkill for a "Welcome Back" package.

Not salty over free stuff. Salty b/c only "returning players" can get it, which doesn't make sense because shouldn't active players be rewarded? This is just allowing people to abuse their mule accounts.
