Jett or Corsair?

I'm debating whether to make a Jett or a Corsair. Which class should I choose? Damage-wise, I don't really care; I'm looking for which one is more fun to play.
id say watch a few youtube vids to get a sense of the playstyle and pick what suits you best. Now bear in mind jetts are almost melee as much as they are ranged, your mobbing is a melee skill, your hyper requires you to be in melee range for it to do damage etc... that is not exactly a bad thing, just don't go into jetts thinking you are going to be fighting safely from afar.

As for DPS. Games like WoW have simcraft where classes, certain talents etc.. are tested and retested again where you can come to a point and say "X class is doing more DPS than Y class in a single target situation" (and yes I know sims are not perfect)- I do not know if such a situation exists in Maplestory, I do not know if there is an individual out there who is simming UP TO DATE dps info. That being said whatever class is on top now in the case of Jett vs Sair, expect it to be temporary until Nexon rebalances once again.

Most recently sairs received a slight revamp so I imagine that in the bossing department sairs are ahead (plus the fact that jetts are so much better in mobility and mobbing because cosmic upheaval is win that you have to give sairs the edge somewhere). Now if sairs are so far ahead of jetts in terms of bossing that it is unfair, highly noticeable etc... then expect jetts to recieve a buff to their skills that will either let them overtake sairs or bring them up to a corsairs level.

Nothing is wrong with playing for "OMG I need to do the most damage" just bear in mind that you will chasing a continually moving target.
This is mostly true, but I am not sure how nexon cares about jetts at the moment. If you can see how they are working to fix beast tamer issues... yeah.
Corsair are fair superior of jetts dmg wise at this moment. Jetts have a good dmg hyper (if you like big number) and the best mobility.

I like Jett because we have double uppercut and the bubble jump is fun to play with ^_^ Also, in my opinion, all of our skills look cooler except rapid fire.

Well Jett is extremely broken and overpowered right now, so

If you wanna train and non endgame playing gets to you, make a jett. I would submit that Sairs are superior bossers. Our rapid fire has a 100% final attack on it which far exceeds the 2% fa that jett have. It literally doubles the lines. I also can not imagine using rapid fire without parrotargetting. It'd just complicate bossing so much. Imo the pot burn is irrelevant because it's a temporary problem that's easily solved either with better gear or a potion pot.

Jetts win for mobility. An argument could be made for mobbing. Sairs win out in bossing and dpm.

Wings vs disco ball? It's obvious who the winner is.

While this is true, all we have to do is turn out backs to most enemies, cast Cosmic Upheaval, and suddently many mobs that are far away and on multiple levels are delivered in front of us in an instant. Then we puncha yo buns.

I enjoy the theme of jetts much more but dislike their playing style compared to corsairs. I find Broadside really fun to use and helpful for times when you're required to attack things at a long range. As for 1v1, I like the look of Jett's rapid fire much more. If you're into close combat a lot more, than I would suggest Jetts since that's the only big difference in my eyes. If you like long distance combat, than I would say corsairs.

Nexon ruined corsairs the day they got rid of battle ship for nerfed hurricane (rapid fire) and nerfed snipe (headshot)..

Jetts= OP cause Mrbasil is a Jett and Mrbasil = Numero Uno

I quit liking Corsairs since I got butt-hurt over the original battleship being removed. I'd like Jett more if it had more ranged attacks you could spam. But, you can vacuum them into one location and do a close ranged mob skill that can typically 1HKO them. So, I deal. Survivability, movement, and affordability are great compared to a Corsair. All-in-all, I love my Jett. Their skills are fairly original in many categories.
