Has anyone significantly changed your view of yourself?

Has anyone changed your view of you? How you see yourself? Whether it be for the better or worse.

The guy I love changed mine. If it weren't for him, I would probably think I'm too ugly or fat or tall or whatever for anyone. But I'm big and I'm tall and he still wanted me ("wanted" because we aren't together anymore). So I feel better about myself.

How about you?
thanks for your consideration. it hasn't happened lately though... last time i felt like that was about a year and a half ago or something.
and luckily, i'm pretty self confident now.
Well that's really good to hear.

@arlongpark: I really like that story.

this is gunna sound pathetic but after i moved to a new city and not knowing anybody i was just walking around pretty sad and lonely. just walking with my head facing the ground. some homeless women calls out 'hey, keep your head up.' these short words ive remembered even after 2 years and i remember it to feel confident. its what got me interested in being physically active and getting stronger

@xFaceIess: I bet you're not an ugly old frump. If you don't mind, could I see a picture of you? It's okay if you don't want to show me though.

@MzMegs: i suppose it's because i somewhat have an inferiority complex.

when I was in elementary, I got a lot of insults thrown at me. most of them not directly.
so that really changed my view of myself for the worse.
I still think of myself as a ugly old frump. and I feel a bit insecure around people because of that. ;_;
ohwell.
I'm a Frummppp<3
well, now that I think about it, my view of myself changes quite often. sometimes for better, and sometimes for worse.
for example, I sometimes feel grateful that I even have what I have. c:

I saw someone paralyzed neck down. Made me realize how much I'm capable of.
