You don't need to kill it for 5th job. And doing 270-300K dmg to it, is your problem. Fund yourself more. Or simply ask for help. Not that hard tbh.

Yea you don't need to kill Pink Bean for 5th. Have yet to kill PB in Reboot and I'm rocking my 5th Job. But he is a tricky and time heavy boss. Did they give him an HP buff or is he still at 2.1b?

Also, yea if you think PB is crazy tanky then you're gonna love Arcane River (5th Job) monsters. Their HP and damage is ridiculous. it's like the second-coming of Lionheart Castle (And I love it).

Should've spent more time farming/upgrading instead of grinding to 200 then.

@nat244: All you have to do is do the Temple of Time questline up to where he makes you kill the last temple guardian, and finish the Amnesiac Temple keeper questline. Once you finish these two questlines you go to the memory monk and he will give you your 5th job advancement quest.

@nat244: they don't have hp equal to pink bean but they do have a whole bunch. I'd say about 1/3 of PB's health

@volpi: i did that killing 333 mob thing but he ask me to kill pink bean too and i did easy magnus.

Again, you DO NOT need to kill Pink Bean for the 5th job quests. You must however..
Complete the ToT questline prior to PB which is killing 333 mobs up till Lyka(?)
Complete the Amnesiac Temple Keeper questline, which can be started somewhere in the first few maps, much easier, much shorter.

That is all, beyond being level 200 and needing access to Magnus, whether be Easy Mag simulator or having done the Heliseum questline.

Oh btw, a lot of mobs in Arcane River actually have HP equal to that of PB on reboot :^) have fun.

Reg Pink Bean does this? That's annoying.

From the moment PB uses damage reflect(DR) the first time, it'll stay active for about 20~25 seconds. Then it goes away and PB can't use DR for another 20 seconds. So when DR goes away, look at the clock and subtract 20 seconds because you have 20 seconds to attack before DR is activated again. EX: If he activates DR at 48:20, it will last until around 47:55 and he will not be able to do it again until 47:35. Hope this helped.

@littletlk: reboot is more populated than the normal servers and i dont play single player mode but when i go up against bosses im not good at, i like to fight them alone for the first few times.

@littletlk: that made no sense... also if i play normal servers ill just buy a character card lv 150 then goto the free market and get my end game gear. -.- that is not rewarding + i learn way more about the game when i play in reboot + its rewarding.

i played in non reboot servers after beta came out and i know that i dont need to do the pay to win thing but the fact that the option is always there then im most likely gonna do it so i dont fall behind.

Try playing in a regular server where there are people willing to help you out.
