Money could solve all my problems right now. Buy a car that actually works, get a new phone provider, pay for college...

Depends on the problem and depends on how you handle money.

If we didn't have money, we would just trade one product for another, which poses its own set of problems.

There will always be someone who has more than you and someone who has less than you.
Aaaand leave it to RitoPls to (purposefully) interpret the question wrong to try and sound deep. No crap money is the best way of exchanging goods, einstein.

The real answer is what everybody else has said, it depends on what you do with the money and how you manage it.

@Vicariously: buying a laptop solves the problem of replacing the old one, and the 5000 was an example
Well money do solve and create problems for example you want to buy a new laptop but you don't have enough money so you borrow from the bank and you finally buy the laptop you wanted; but then you have months to work and obtain- let's say $5000 to return to the bank.
Even considering interest, I think the real problem is he's spending $5000 on a laptop.
