Shipping Warhammer Models

So, I recently decided to quit and I am selling a large amount of my warhammer + 40k stuff online to try and get a little money back to use for other things that may come up. So all in all my question is what is the best way to ship/package a large number of models ranging in sizes from small to extremely large. These things are somewhat delicate and I dont want them to break while being moved. Thanks in advance!
Also, if you want keep an eye on those 40k/warhammer ebay sections should be full of junk soon enough

I saw some articles in an old Car Model magazine that were talking about shipping models in for a contest they were having.
This must have been before styrofoam peanuts were commonly available, because they recommended using air-popped popcorn as packing material around the models.

I'd recommend submerging the model in styrofoam peanuts (I wouldn't wrap bubble wrap directly around the model because of the likelihood of crushing delicate parts) in a sturdy box just a little larger in dimensions than the model itself. Then put that box inside another box that's several inches larger all around and pack the space between the boxes with styrofoam peanuts. Double-boxing is a pain, but it provides the best protection for something as delicate as a polystyrene model.

Wrap the model in bubble wrap (paper first, if needed), tape it the bubblewrap to ensure the model doesn't slip out, and place it in a box filled with packing peanuts (or airpouches).

Insure the package if needed.
