what to get someone as a gift
So my friends girl only gets money as gifts cause she doesn't want anything else but it's her first birthday with them being together and he asked me for advice, cause he wants to get her something special and not just cash. He told me she likes rock music, but already has a way of getting her music. Stupid monster movies or just dumb movies to make fun of. She doesn't wear any jewelry. Doesn't like going places, and literally all the time stays at home just watching movies and shows or playing bloons tower defense.
My ideas i had were clothing but he doesn't exactly know what she would like to wear, or food cause she likes to eat, but i just don't know

Can he cook? If not, then tell him to learn to cook so they can have a nice dinner together, maybe? idk

Get her a gift card for a place she likes to get cosmetic products at? But based on your post, she probably goes makeup free all the time, so... idk.
Personally I don't like receiving stuffed animals (useless and just pile up in my room), clothes (most likely won't be my size/something I'd wear), make up (might not be her shade or brand she likes).
My favourite gifts from my boyfriends were either my favourite foods or things that we have inside jokes about that other people won't get. Those are the best and non-generic gifts imo.

eh even if it may not seem very personal money or a gift card may still be the best option. He could at least change the way he'd give it to her (not just a card or money shoved in a card, instead rolled up maybe and attached to a bunch of flowers, a fake tree or a flower pot, bla bla bla).

she's 18 and he's 19, and they do do that kind of stuff together, he told me they mostly just cuddle and watch shows or movies together, and then occasionally do that stuff
If she likes staying at home get her a really good comfy/good computer chair.
And remember, all good chairs have to be swivel
