Probably because there was an uneven amount of males and females or something like that... but why they gotta genderlock aran tho

@trumpet205: If I remember correctly, in the cutscene when Aran was first released, he was male. It was only after big-bang that they changed him into a female. I don't blame you though, only vets know about this.

@trumpet205: There might have not been a specific gender assigned to it. But if you watched the commercials and stuff that came out around the time the class was first being introduced they definitely implied that it was supposed to be a male. TBH I really don't care either way because I never mained an Aran, but it's just weird to see that a character so many assumed was a male be turned into a female.

@helpingly: Um.. when Aran first came out there was no specific gender. Back then Nexon actually had two artworks for male and female Aran. If you do Arkarium pre-quest (Silent Crusade) as an Aran, at the end of the pre-quest you will get a male or female Aran chair depending on your gender.

But clearly since other heroes came out Nexon decided to assign a gender to each hero.

That sucks a lot. When they first introduced the class it was clearly a guy. The sudden gender change was probably due to women complaining that they were not well represented in the heroes. Blame women people.

Nexon, please make a gender change coupon and put it on CS. I really want to change my male Aran into female.
