Penny Nickel vs Sector 9 Cruiser
Hello all! So, I'm going to some Indie music festival type of thing this Saturday and it's going to be right by the beach. Pretty sure we're gonna end up cruising around.. The problem is, I don't have a board. So my question to you all is, should I get a Penny Nickel or a Sector 9 Cruiser? Two of the girls I'm going with have Penny Nickels and the other one has a regular Penny, if that says anything. Parading around Oceanside as a band of Pennys kind of sounds fruity, but I don't mind ahaha.
Note: The only thing I'd be using the board for is to cruise around - around the beach, from class to class, etc. I'm not quite into the whole "trick" scene either so no need for a 200 dollar drop-through right now.
Thanks!

[quote=DrPebble]Neither. They both lack durability.

What the hell do you need durability in a board used only for casual cruising? Just tell him that you prefer those boards over the ones he mentioned. Get anything that you like that isn't a Wal Mart board or something crappy like that.

Do they? I've had my penny for about a year and half now and it's completely fine.

Oh wow, thanks man! Similar length as well, so portability is as convenient as it would've been with my original two choices. Do they sell these in stores in California?
