Does Incising even work?

On the skill it states it boosts party critical damage by 10% and self critical damage by 20%, I haven't tested the party damage but when I use it on bosses I never see a change in critical damage

I MEAN PUNCTURE BUT INCISING IS WHAT IT WAS CALLED IN KMS!
@Rexaar, thank you. I was curious because I realized in Dojo, most of the time it is not even worth casting because of the consumption of so many orbs.
Nice to see you back in the hero forums again and incising is useful at some places but sadly dojo is not one of them.
Critical hits for heroes does not scale well with ACA and enrage, therefore any source of max/min crit damage is at least 2x (up to 3.52x) less effective than other classes.
Puncture +20% crit damage is additive to both mix/max crit damage.
In a sense Puncture is only a 3-5% boost to our critical damage.
Ohhhh, that's how much it really feels like. Originally I was expecting 20% more in my crit hits f3. I have 82% critical chance and last 2 are gauranteed anyway so I definitely crit.

I believe it does work because my party sees the difference.

Since we are on this topic, I have always wondered a few things about the skill.
Is the skill's boost to critical additive or multiplicative? Us heroes have that additive critical boost with our orbs, which is really annoying.
If the boost is not multiplicative, but instead additive, does it boost minCrit, maxCrit, or both?

@HitThings, would you happen to know?

The extra critical damage increase from Incising is amazing; I get a bonus of 2~3m added onto my critical lines.
You'll have to have a decent crit rate against bosses (60%+) to notice a big difference though.

My only issue with Puncture is that the duration is slightly low.

it does work maybe you just have low critical chance..
