Names and Their Meanings

So me and my girlfriend were talking about if we ever had kids, what we would want to name them.
In the process I stumbled upon this site where you type in your first name and it gives you this hardcore analysis of the kind of person you are and your faults and whatnot.

How accurate is this for you guys? This is freakishly accurate in my case.

If you want to see what makes me tick for whatever reason, my name is Anthony.

Your first name, Jeremy, makes you independent, resourceful, practical, and patient.
You could be inventive along scientific or technical lines.
Although you are not naturally spontaneous in musical or artistic expression, you can develop technical proficiency along these lines.
You are fussy about details and seek perfection in whatever you undertake.
Being somewhat wilful and skeptical, you learn best through your own experiences and seek proof though facts.
You work best alone, making your own decisions, and learning from your own experiences.
Despite your loyalty to friends, your communication at times is stilted, too candid, and frank.
Weaknesses in the health centre in the head, and in the stomach and intestinal organs.

Wow what the hell o.o
HOW IS THIS SO ACCURATE?

Your first name, Sylvia, makes you self-reliant, creative in practical ways, and an independent diligent worker.
You work best alone making your own decisions as it is not always easy for you to respond to the advice and direction of others as you feel the need to be in control.
You enjoy the simple pleasures of life especially activities that take you outdoors.
You have a few good friends who enjoy similar activities.
Living much within your own thoughts and finding it challenging to communicate easily with others, you are, at times, too candid and honest in your assessment of situations.
You feel this separation from others and would give anything to be always lighthearted and friendly instead of serious and shy.

That's pretty accurate
This influence of this name can adversely affect the health of the heart and lungs because of self-consciousness, sensitivity, and lack of verbal expression.
Tension also centres in the head affecting either the eyes, ears, sinuses, or teeth.

Euh...

"The name of Gianfranco has made you rather reserved and, at times, secretive about your personal affairs.
As a result, people find it difficult to understand you and you suffer through loneliness.
You are interested in understanding life along scientific, religious, and philosophical lines.
Also, you derive much enjoyment from reading and from being out in nature.
At times, you find it easier to express your thoughts in writing, rather than verbally.
You are astute regarding the value of money, have good business judgment, and can drive a hard bargain if such is required.
This name has not allowed you to express fully the softer, more spontaneous qualities of your nature because of its practical business attributes.
You are matter-of-fact in your attitude to things, not easily swayed by others, nor overly compassionate to the suffering of others.
You are an ambitious person, have expensive tastes, appreciate quality in all things, and desire to have the best money can buy.
You are inclined to judge things according to their material value.
Weaknesses in the health through the use of this name could affect the heart or bronchial organs, or cause problems relative to the generative organs."
I'd say the fourth is 100% wrong. I have no idea about the last one. The rest alternate between spot-on and applicable. But ya.

Mine is very close but when I put my last name it describes me very well too... Except having a large group of friends.

Very, very accurate for the most part, aside from me being prone to health problems caused by worry and a sensitivity in the respiratory area...

I know about the Barnum effect. But there were a few suspiciously spot on things that weren't the typically vague descriptions that are usually on these things.
I just thought it was pretty damn interesting and was wondering if anyone else got some suspiciously spot on statements said about themselves.
To be fair, I have had a really hard time ever having any sort of routine in my life but that's about all it got right. The rest were partially true and seemed very accurate but fell apart when I gave it further thought. Given how specific some of them are but probably applicable to a good deal of people, I'd say it's something of casting a wide net and if one or two of them seem to fit a person, they'll be more inclined to see the other, more dubious ones as also accurate.

"Did you even look at it?"
Why do people always use that go-to-question when someone disagrees?
Yes I looked at it. Some things were correct, some things were completely off. What a surprise.
It's only accurate because you fit the description to yourself.
I highly doubt that the name your parents gave you at birth subconsciously formed your personality as you grew up.
It's either a round analysis or just lucky.
Just how I see things.
