Who would you give up your life to?
Who would you give up your life for?
Like for example its a choice between killing you or the other person.
Or that person needs a heart transplant or something.
Me personally, i would give up my life to my kids and my kids only.
People may think im crazy but my parents with rather die then see me die for them and i dont really know about my wife.
But my kids are my flesh and blood and there the ones that will carry my stories and memories when i die.
So what do you guys think? Who would you give up your life for?

why would you even bring something like this up?
Well most parents do have a strong attachment to their kids, as they helped create and raise them. And most parents expect their kids to outlive them, but having a "either I die, or my kid dies" choice is horrible in itself. If you die your kid will be left without one of his/her parents, and your spouse will be widowed. If your kid dies, you and your spouse will be left without your child. Lose lose situation, someone is devastated either way.
And I don't particularly like scenarios like that, so I tend to avoid doing things that makes death a requirement. And the heart transplant example reminds me of the movie [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iG0dJ7NgSPM]John Q[/url] "I am not going to bury my son! My son is going to bury me!"
