Beasttamer

Help me figure out a beast tamer skill build

So I want to go for the late game, assuming I get there. I want to go bossing, fighting the tough fights, and basically becoming as strong of a DPS as I can get, and I plan to be doing most of this solo. Anyways I just have a bunch of question:

On the issue of Bear vs Leopard, I hear almost everywhere that Bear is better in the long run and will eventually outdamage Leopard when it comes to single targets; is this true?

Some people say to max both Bear and Leopard but I wonder is that really optimal? Is it okay to choose just one of those? And if so, which one suits my goals better? I don't care about the early game since it's not that hard to get by it anyway.

Now if I do choose only one of those two, what should the other animal be? Cat or Hawk?

From browsing the forums I hear a lot of people say that Bear/Cat is the optimal build for late game. Will this hold true for my goals?

Thank you for the feedback.

I think training from 1 to 100 is fastest with leopard. The mobility combined with the self-healing and those Bro's are just awesome. I calculated how much SP I would need to save whenever there was a 'gap' and used the rest in bear. When I got bear up to Furious Strikes, I started using it more, but I continued to put points into Leopard for the medal. It gives more MAtt then the Bear medal, but that one gives Boss so I switch between the two. After getting the medal, I claimed my free SP reset scroll (just don't claim it at lv 100 otherwise it may expire before you can use it) and reset the points. You get to keep your medal.

I do miss my leopard bro's. They always outnumbered the amount of monsters on a map.

Wanted to answer the other day, but i was "destroyed", so--- here my answer:
Bear is better for bossing, mostly because it has more hits per second, a summon that hit like 1k+% dmg per sec and the fire area that help with lot of dmg and don't activate DR. Leopard can reach 100% def reduction, lot of nice combo attacks and of course that you can boss with it, but... its too mobile, you going to be running from one side to another and lose dps trying to re-locate the boss... Well, there are some bosses that that is good...

You can go Bear - Leopard, but because their buffs are restricted to their stances, ppl prefear mix one animal with cat, because card buff stay even if you change animal.
Bear - Leopard is usually for full dps, boss - training wise, but full dps boss... better Bear - Cat. Of course, there are other combinations less used... someone mentioned that bird have lot of potential...

Lets say you choose max Bear, go Cat till gold card then points in bird till Regroup. Cat mostly for max dmg with card buffs your bear and bird for mobility if needed (plus some support if needed)

In case of Leopard is near the same...

Wish it helps
